FAQs

What advice would you give a client looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would encourage the client to determine their goals for their business and then to ask their bookkeeper how they could assist them with achieving the goal. For example, most accounting firms don’t care to take the time to bond with the customer and therefore simple errors are repeatedly made therefore ultimately lowering the amount of deductions you can write off at year end.

What if I’m doing the bookkeeping myself?

I understand you completely, however, bookkeeping is so much more than entering bills and writing checks. All income and expenses need to be accurately recorded to reflect the absolute most accurate financial health of your business. In terms of tax season—these recorded expenses can absolutely determine the amount of claimed deductions and if they are not recorded accurately, you essentially won’t get as much back. Is that what you want?

How do I get my private information to you?

All documents and records are stored in a secure portal encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard—which is basically bank and military grade security. All data and privacy information are held with the strictest confidence between the client and myself.
